It’s been a long road, but every step made me who I am.
I’m Aleksandar Šterijev — a husband, father of two, and someone who’s been stubbornly chasing creativity and independence for as long as I can remember.
My path here has been anything but a straight line. I started out repairing cars, then taught myself design, and somehow found myself building websites, brands, and teams. Along the way, I’ve failed more times than I can count — from dropshipping stores that never took off, to clothing brands that couldn’t sustain themselves, to blogs and YouTube channels that I poured my heart into but eventually had to let go. Every one of those projects carried a piece of me, and every failure hurt. But they also taught me something new — about design, about business, about people, and most of all, about myself.
What kept me going was this unshakable need to create. To take an idea, shape it, and put it into the world. That drive led me from freelancing as a graphic designer, to working nearly a decade as a web designer, to eventually becoming a marketing manager — leading a team of developers, designers, and content creators. I never stopped learning, never stopped experimenting.
But here’s the truth: I don’t just love design. I love helping people tell their story and build something bigger than themselves. That’s why I started Studio Sterijev. It’s not just a business for me — it’s my way of channeling all the lessons, mistakes, and wins I’ve had into helping others succeed.
