It’s been a long road, but every step made me who I am.

My name is Aleksandar Šterijev — Art Director based in Belgrade, working at the intersection of fintech and high-end brand systems.

This is not a polished success story. It’s a record of a transition — and the foundation of Studio Šterijev.

I didn’t start in design. I started repairing cars, learning patience, precision, and the quiet discipline of doing things properly. Later, I taught myself design the hard way: by building, breaking, repeating. I chased ideas with stubborn optimism — dropshipping stores, clothing brands, blogs, YouTube projects. Many of them failed. Every one of them left a mark.

Those years shaped how I work today: clarity over noise. Systems over decoration. Intentional decisions over fast trends.

Over time, I moved from freelancing to nearly a decade in web design, then into marketing leadership — leading developers, designers, and content teams. But the point was never the title. The point was the craft: building something that feels inevitable.

I don’t believe in decorating businesses. I believe in building visual architecturebrand systems that command respect and endure beyond the next trend.

Studio Šterijev exists as a rejection of fast-design culture.
It’s built for founders who want focus, not noise — and for teams who care more about craft than quick wins.

If you’re building something serious and you want a brand that looks like it belongs there, welcome to the after-hours.
